Q. What is the K&L Gates Alumni Network?
At K&L Gates, we value the contributions of our alumni to the firm, our clients, and the communities we serve. We embrace the power of relationships and acknowledge the benefits of staying connected. This is why we have made the investment to create the global K&L Gates Alumni Network.
Our Alumni Network is designed to foster engagement by offering networking events, professional development training opportunities, continuing education programs, and an array of other resources to help our lawyers – past and present – stay connected.

Q. Who is eligible to join the K&L Gates Alumni Network?
All current and former, full-time employees of K&L Gates or a predecessor firms.
Q. How do I register and join the K&L Gates Alumni Network?
You can register by visiting alumni.klgates.com and clicking on the "join now" button. You will be prompted to enter your name and email address and create a password. To verify new members and maintain a secure website, you will be asked to enter your mobile number as part of the multi-factor authentication. Following these steps, you will create your alumni profile and submit it for verification.
Q. How long does it take to be approved?
As part of the application process, we ask several questions to help us validate your employment. Most applicants will be approved same day, but it can take up to 5 days for some applications to be approved.
Q. When I connect my account with LinkedIn, will you ever post content on my behalf?
We will never post content without your permission; however, we encourage you to share the news via LinkedIn when joining the K&L Gates Alumni Network. We also invite you to join our K&L Gates Alumni JOIN THE K&L GATES GLOBAL ALUMNI NETWORK The K&L Gates Alumni Network LinkedIn Group provides another opportunity to connect with fellow alumni and stay current with firm news, CLE programming, and other valuable thought leadership. Join more than 1000 of your former colleagues around the world who are part of this group and expand your network.
Q. How will I know if I have been approved?
You will receive a “welcome” email upon approval.
